Designed with a heavy, tapered jaw and a self-locking ratchet near the finger rings.
The relatively long and thin needle holder ensures safe needle guidance without restricting the view of the surgical field. For surgeons who make heavy use of their instruments, those with tungsten carbide (TC) inserts are recommended, which last up to 5 times longer than regular steel.
